About Bloomwell
Bloomwell was created because we believe people deserve more than a roof over their heads. Your past doesn’t define your future.
We wanted to do things differently.
Having worked within supported housing, we’ve seen how easily people can become lost between services, repeatedly asked to explain their circumstances or left feeling that decisions about their future are being made without them.
We wanted to create something different. Somewhere people feel listened to, respected and genuinely supported. Somewhere independence is encouraged and people are given opportunities to grow.
We don’t believe supported accommodation should be somewhere people become stuck. It should be a stepping stone towards greater independence and a better future.
That’s why we created Bloomwell.
Everyone’s journey is different.
We support adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including people who have experienced homelessness, mental health difficulties, substance use challenges, involvement with the criminal justice system or other barriers to stable housing.
We understand that life isn’t always straightforward and that people can face several challenges at once. We don’t judge people by their past. We focus on understanding their needs, recognising their strengths and supporting them towards a better future.
Every placement starts with an individual assessment, so we can be sure we can safely and appropriately meet each person’s needs.

Why a stable home matters
A safe, settled home is not the whole answer, but it makes everything else possible.
Sleeping well, keeping appointments, managing money, reconnecting with family and friends, thinking about learning or work: all of these are much harder without somewhere secure to live. That is why, at Bloomwell, accommodation and support work together rather than separately.
Our model moves at each person’s pace: stability, then skills, then opportunity, then moving on to a more independent life.
What you can expect from us
Whether you live with us, care about someone who does, or work alongside us, these are the commitments behind everything we do.
- To be treated with dignity and respect, and not defined by your past
- To have a real say in your support plan and the decisions that affect you
- To see familiar faces: a consistent team and one lead support worker
- To tell your story once, with your information kept safe and only shared when appropriate and lawful
- Honesty about what we can help with, and support to connect with other services when you need them
Our vision
Our aim isn’t to keep people in supported accommodation forever. It’s to help them build the confidence, skills and stability to move forward when they’re ready.
We want everyone who comes to Bloomwell to feel welcomed rather than judged, heard rather than passed between services, respected rather than defined by their circumstances, and hopeful about their future.
Supporting lives. Building futures. Helping people bloom.
Together for a brighter tomorrow
Whether you’re looking for a safe place to call home, supporting someone you care about or making a referral, we’d love to hear from you.
