Your goals. Your pace. Your future.
Everyone’s journey is different, and we believe their support should reflect that. We believe progress is personal, and every step forward deserves recognition.
Support that moves with you
Rather than focusing on the challenges people face, we focus on how to move forward.
We’re here to support people towards the goals that matter to them, whether that’s:
- Building confidence
- Managing everyday responsibilities
- Accessing healthcare
- Finding employment
- Returning to education
- Reconnecting with the community
- Preparing for independent living
How we support you
Five things shape the support we offer, from the day you arrive to the day you move on.
-

Multiple disadvantage support
Understanding, trauma-informed support when life has brought several challenges at once.
-
Person-centred support
Support built around you: your goals, your choices and your pace. You tell your story once.
-
Independence and life skills
Practical, everyday support to build confidence, learn new skills and do more for yourself.
-
Community and move-on
Help to reconnect with people and places, and to plan your next home when you’re ready.
Support built around you
You’ll have people who know you, and a plan that’s yours: shaped around your goals, needs, preferences and choices, and changing as you do.
You tell your story once. We listen properly, then work alongside you and the people involved in your support. What “Tell your story once” means.

-

-
One clear pathway towards independence
Building skills, confidence and supporting long-term wellbeing.
Everyone’s journey is different.
We support adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including people who have experienced homelessness, mental health difficulties, substance use challenges, involvement with the criminal justice system or other barriers to stable housing.
We don’t judge people by their past. We focus on understanding their needs, recognising their strengths and supporting them towards a better future.
Every placement starts with an individual assessment, so we can be sure we can safely and appropriately meet each person’s needs.
Questions people often ask
If your question isn’t here, call us on 0114 349 5538 or send us a message. Professionals can find out how referrals work on our referral page.
What’s included in the accommodation?
Our 13-bedroom shared home is fully furnished, with comfortable shared living spaces. Wi-Fi and household utilities are included, and there’s an on-site staff presence day and night.
Do you have a place available now?
Availability changes, so we don’t list it here. Call 0114 349 5538 or get in touch and we’ll tell you where things stand.
Is getting in touch the same as applying?
No. Getting in touch is just a first conversation and doesn’t commit you to anything. Every placement starts with an individual assessment, so we can be sure we can safely and appropriately meet each person’s needs.
Will I have to repeat my story?
We want to listen properly once and build on that, rather than asking you to explain your circumstances again and again.
Can my family be involved?
Yes, if you want them to be. Your voice comes first in decisions about your life, and we’ll ask before involving anyone else.
Is Bloomwell an emergency service?
No. We’re available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
