Privacy notice

How we handle the information you share with us through this website, by phone or by email.

Who we are

Bloomwell Housing provides supported accommodation in Sheffield. Our registered office is 164 Langsett Road, Sheffield, S6 2UB. For any question about this notice or your information, email admin@bloomwellhousing.co.uk or call 0114 349 5538 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

What this notice covers

This notice covers enquiries and referrals made through this website, by phone or by email. If you go on to receive support from us, we will explain separately how we look after the information in your support record.

Information we collect

If you use our enquiry form, we ask for:

  • what your enquiry is about
  • your name, and your organisation if you are contacting us in a professional role
  • how you would like us to reply, and your email address or phone number
  • your message

We ask you not to include health, medical, criminal record or other sensitive details in the form. We can talk about those privately and agree a secure way to share anything that is needed.

Referrals

If a professional uses our referral form, we ask for their name, role, organisation and contact details, and for the name and date of birth of the person being referred, where they are living now, the kinds of support they may need and a short summary. The referrer must confirm that the person knows about the referral and agrees to us receiving their information. We use this to consider the referral and contact the referrer.

How forms are sent

Both forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and delivered to the relevant Bloomwell inbox by Resend, an email delivery service that acts on our behalf. We don’t keep a copy on the website itself.

What we don’t collect

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not set any cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so visiting a page does not send your information to other companies.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to talk about support, a possible referral or working together. We use it because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

We do not sell your information. We only share it with others if you agree, or where the law allows or requires us to, for example to protect someone from serious harm.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your information or limit how we use it
  • object to how we use your information

To make a request, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

We will update this page if anything changes. Draft prepared on 9 October 2026.
